What effect does organic and non-organic food have on your development?

AlbertA asked:

I just wanted to know, it sounded like an interesting question, and I was wondering, by development, i mean like growth, puberty, etc etc.

Hi ALbertA, some organic foods may contain a slightly higher nutritional content than non organic. The question is will this improve your development eg growth etc.?

Potentially yes and no

If you can only eat X amount of a certain product and are slightly deficient in a specific vitamin eating (X) of a non organic product and the organic has more than yes it will be of benifit. It would most likely to be cheaper to eat more of the non organic however.

The benifit with organic might come with the unknown. Minute trace elements may be available due to the growing medium, perhaps.

For me I would just recommen people concentrate on getting a nutritionally balanced intake of the foods they can afford, with as much variety as they can stomach.
