Well it because of the way they farm it without pesticides an chemicals…l guess that why.

They are produced by independent farmers, not in mass quantity, and the labor is done by human rather than machine so it takes more work.

I think it is some of the time. But I also think there this idea out there that we’ll pay whatever it costs.

Supply and demand does have some effect on this but mainly organic food costs more to produce. The yield is lower per acre, requires more manhours, etc.
